For hotels and hospitality

A better room standard starts below the surface.

A room is turned every day and still only ever vacuumed. What settles below the pile stays there.

Operational fit

Designed around how a property already runs.

ATMOS complements daily housekeeping and routine vacuuming rather than replacing them. Treatment is planned around occupancy, uses no water or wet-cleaning solution and can be scaled from a single trial room to a full-property programme.

  • Treatment takes place in vacant rooms or agreed areas
  • No water or wet-cleaning solution is used
  • Programmes can be planned around occupancy
  • Selected rooms can be trialled before a wider commitment
  • Each completed visit can be documented
  • Recurring schedules can be created by room, floor or property
Benefits to guests

What the guest actually notices.

Guests rarely comment on a carpet that has been treated. They comment on the room feeling fresh, and on nothing being wrong with it. That is the point.

  • The room smells of nothing at all, rather than of cleaning products
  • Less dust settling on surfaces between housekeeping visits
  • Carpet that feels softer and springier underfoot
  • Bedding sits on a mattress that has been treated, not just turned
  • No damp carpet, no drying time and no wet-cleaning smell on arrival
  • Fewer complaints from guests who are sensitive to dust
Allergy-considered rooms

A room type you can sell at a premium.

Housekeeping keeps a room clean day to day and does that job well. This is something different. It is a scheduled specialist treatment of the soft furnishings in a room, carried out with dry extraction equipment that housekeeping trolleys and hotel vacuums are not built to do. That is the reason it is not already being done. The equipment does not exist in a normal hotel operation.

Housekeeping cleans the room. We treat what is held inside the furnishings.

  • Carpet, mattress, headboard, upholstered seating and curtains where suitable
  • Specialist dry extraction equipment that is not available to a housekeeping team
  • Dry throughout, so the room returns to sale the same day
  • Repeated on a set schedule so levels of dust, hair and grit stay low
  • Each treated room recorded by date, room number and furnishing
  • Positioned and priced as an allergy-considered room type

We describe these rooms in terms of comfort and low levels of dust, hair and grit. We make no medical or allergy claims.

The evidence

Housekeeping is doing its job. This still sits underneath.

We treat one agreed area in a vacant room and show you what came out of it. That is the whole pitch. If the result is unremarkable, we say so.

Process

How a hotel engagement unfolds.

  1. 01

    Initial conversation

A short discussion about the property, the areas of interest and current housekeeping practice.

  2. 02

    Selected-room demonstration

A complimentary demonstration in a small agreed area so the collection result is visible before any commitment.

  3. 03

    Review of the visible result

We review the collection result together and discuss what suits the property.

  4. 04

    Property-specific proposal

A written proposal outlining suitable areas, treatment scope and indicative scheduling.

  5. 05

    Planned treatment

Treatment carried out in vacant rooms or agreed windows, coordinated with your housekeeping team.

  6. 06

    Completion records

Each visit documented by property, room and furnishing.

  7. 07

    Recurring maintenance review

Scheduling revisited as the programme matures.

Suitable areas

Suitable areas across the property.

  • Guest-room carpets
  • Mattresses
  • Upholstered headboards where suitable
  • Chairs and seating
  • Rugs
  • Corridors and shared carpeted areas
  • Lounge upholstery
  • Other suitable soft furnishings following assessment
Reporting

A clear record for every visit.

Commercial clients may receive a treatment record after each visit, offering a consistent standard across rooms and across time.

  • Date of treatment
  • Property and room reference
  • Furnishings treated
  • Operative record
  • Completion status
  • Supporting photographs where agreed
  • Recommended next treatment date
  • Notes or exceptions
Next step

Arrange a demonstration in a selected room.

A demonstration takes a short window in one or two rooms and gives a clear view of what a wider programme could look like.
